Game design

Start with
the player.

Design begins with the actions, choices, and feedback that make a game worth playing. We work through mechanics, rules, pacing, and level flow in small playable prototypes.

Playtests show what to keep, what to change, and where the design needs to be clearer.

Design direction

Direct
the build.

Clear design decisions give AI useful work to do. We turn those decisions into specific instructions, review the output, and test it in play.

  1. 01

    Write the brief

Set out the player’s goal, controls, rules, and visual references.

  2. 02

    Build one mechanic

Use AI to help implement a small, testable part of the design.

  3. 03

    Play and revise

Check the feel, pacing, and edge cases. Give specific corrections and test again.
